I should have mentioned this one LONG before now...
"Art Carney's Dream" from The Swirling Eddies' 1994 CD "Zoom Daddy" has lyrics so deep that you could dive into them and swim around in them for weeks. Only Terry Taylor could take an old-school television icon and shape a metaphor for salvation and redemption. The song really rocks, as a bonus!

I really dig Lonnie Liston Smith's interpretation of Rahsaan Roland Kirk's tune "Bright Moments." It's funky, very danceable and very, well, bright!
