I posted about the Lost Dogs in my other blog last week after seeing them in concert. I picked up their latest CD while at the show. They saved the best for last this time around as they did on their first and second records. "That's Where Jesus Is" is a stark indictment of "those who would co-opt Jesus for their own purposes," as Terry Taylor said when they performed it live. Rather, Taylor points out that Jesus is "in the homeless faces, with the junkies in their living hell." My favorite line of the song is a trademark Taylor-made observation, "[Jesus] gets invited to church sometimes, and sometimes He don't go."
